about

Music for dancer Bob Beswick using gongs, piano, electronics, percussion, and invented instruments.

Sharing an aesthetic of structured improvisation infused with a sense of fun and delight in discovery, we’ve pushed each other's boundaries while performing together across the U.S., including shows at Roulette and Experimental Intermedia Foundation in NYC, and a dance concert for radio.

Bob Beswick is a veteran of the Nikolais Dance Theatre and has taught, choreographed, and performed throughout England, Australia, and the United States. He works with material combining movement and voice within a theatrical context, reflecting his studies with Alwin Nikolais as well as the contrasting work and teachings of John Cage.

First performed at Experimental Sound Studio in Chicago, May 4&5, 2012.
